It all began in June 2021.

With one intuitive idea, a multifunctional accessory, a hair clip, bracelet and piece of jewelry in one. A small design that set everything in motion.

From that single piece, Slingher grew into a refined collection of handcrafted leather essentials. The name comes from the Slinge, the small stream near Groenlo. Water has always been my inspiration. Fluid, strong, in motion. That same flow runs through every design. Slingher M, River Belt, Creek Bag… and the Canal Bag.

The Canal Bag was born from the same vision that shaped the first Slingher. Movement, softness and versatility. Its signature leather lines echo a natural rhythm. Flowing, timeless, and quietly strong. Each piece is handmade in the Netherlands from soft Italian Lamb Nappa leather, crafted in small batches with local ateliers.
